Top Five Wednesday: Books You Wish Had A Sequel

Top Five Wednesday: Books You Wish Had A Sequel

It’s Wednesday and this week’s brief for Top Five Wednesday is ‘Books You Wish Had A Sequel’. I’m going to be talking about stand alone books and completed series that I need more of. Obviously, Harry Potter is something I want more of but I’ve decided not to include it in this list to leave room for everyone else.

Uprooted by Naomi Novik

I adore this fairytale-style novel and desperately need to read more. I am emotionally attached to all the characters and would love to have a sequel.

All My Friends Are Superheroes by Andrew Kaufman

In this novel, superheroes are totally normal and it follows a man without powers. I would love a series of books following different non-superheroes all over the world.

The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer

The Lunar Chronicles is my most recent ‘fangirl’ series. I can’t get enough and simply want more books. Marissa Meyer is a benevolent leader however and she has furnished us with lots of novellas. You can check out my review of Cinder (the first book in the series) here.

The Shadows Of The Apt by Adrian Tchaikovsky

I need a book about Che and Thalric’s life in the land of the Worm. I want to watch them start a family and lead a rebellion. I need this in my life.

Alice’s Adventures In Wonderland by Lewis Carroll

Two books in Wonderland is simply not enough for me. I love this weird world that Carroll brings magically life. They are my all time favourite books and I would love more.

What book or series do you need more of? Let me know in the comments!
