Today I would like to talk about something that has been plaguing me for years. It’s generally accepted that Harry’s invisibility cloak is a hallow, so here is a quote explaining its properties:
” … a cloak that really and truly renders the wearer completely invisible, and endures eternally, giving constant and impenetrable concealment, no matter what spells are cast at it.”
What I want to know is how the hell can Mad-Eye’s eye see through it? ‘Constant and impenetrable concealment’? I don’t think so. This has bothered me for ages. I realise that Moody being able to see through the cloak was a plot device but it just doesn’t make any sense. I don’t know what to think.
Anybody have anything to say on this topic? Let me know.
